Wil Craig knows all too well the devastating results of texting and driving. In January 2008, Craig was on his way to a movie with this girlfriend who was driving. Traveling nearly 120 mph, his girlfriend looked down read an incoming text, lost control, and slammed into a tree. She walked away without even a scratch; Will wasn’t so lucky. He suffered a traumatic brain injury, collapsed lung, and broken ribs. Doctors gave him a 4% chance of survival; he was in a coma for more than eight weeks.
Wil beat the odds; after enduring a long, painful rehabilitation; he relearned how to walk and talk, and regained his ability to speak. Will has been sharing his story to help stop texting and driving.
